For the concept of the main building, I wanted to focus on bringing the curvature of an olive into the design. This is why I included the circular shape in the roofing of the entrance/ outdoor space. There is also an allocated a space for a tree, which ties in with the ethos of the brand. I was inspired by the work of David Shelly, and his use of a more spread-out and modular structure. This however, can be more costly in term of energy efficiency (especially with the amount of windows), so I decided to slightly elongate the homes. I chose to refer back to the shape of the olive and create windows with a softer edge to balance the blunt edges. There will be panelling on the side of the veranda to allow gardening, to further promote eco living.​
